General Terms & Conditions
“Loyalty Program”: The rewards program offered to Cpost customers who make purchases through the PuntoMio platform. The Loyalty Program grants PuntoMio customers discounts on their shipments.
“General terms and conditions “: The general terms applicable on the Loyalty Program.
“Cpoints”: Points received according to the Loyalty Program Rules and Regulations.
“Date of registration”: The day Cpost has confirmed the registration application of an individual.
“Member”: a participant of the Loyalty Program, who has successfully registered and has obtained a valid Loyalty Program membership number. Only a member of the Loyalty Program can benefit from its advantages.
“Membership card” and “card”: a Cpoints membership card distributed by Cpost to the applicable members.
General TermsApplicable Law
This agreement shall be interpreted and implemented in accordance with the law of Curaçao.Modification and Suspension Rights
Cpost reserves the right to modify or suspend the Loyalty Program, or any aspect thereof, without prior notice; and/or cancel the program in its entirety with three months’ notice to members.Amend and Revision
Cpost shall be entitled to amend or revise the General term & conditions at any time.Lost Cpoints card
Lost cards and/or destroyed Loyalty Program cards will only be replaced upon payment of an administration fee of ANG. 15,00.Inactive Membership
If no points are credited to your account in a consecutive 18-month period your account will be considered inactive.Account / Points expiration
Points accrued shall be subject to expiration if an account has been given the status of inactive.
Unused Cpoints will expire after one year. Cpoints will be redeemed according to the "first in, first out" principle.
Membership of Cpost’s Loyalty Program is open for all registered PuntoMio clients on Curaçao and Sint Maarten.Transfer of Cpoints
Accrued Cpoints are not transferable.Shared Membership
Shared membership is not allowed.Name and Address Changes
Members shall be responsible to advise Cpost of any change of Name, Address, Telephone Number(s) and Email Address.
Changes must be submitted on-line.
New PuntoMio clients will automatically qualify for the Loyalty Program immediately after registration.
The moment a member for the first time redeems his or her Cpoints, he or she agrees to the Terms and conditions set out in this document.
Cpost holds the right to refuse an application to any individual who does not meet the Terms and Conditions set out in this document.Cancellation
Any Member can cancel his or her membership with the program immediately by means of an e-mail or a written letter to any Cpost office in Curaçao. The date, reason for cancelling, Cpoints membership number, address and date of birth should be mentioned in the cancellation letter. After the cancellation has been completed, the general Terms and Conditions will remain applicable.Referrals
Any Member can refer a non-Member to the Loyalty Program by following the instructions on the Cpost’s corporate website. Referrals are acknowledged after the referee signed up, placed an order and picked it up at Cpost. Acknowledged referrals may qualify for bonus points.
Program ComplianceDisqualification and Suspension of Members
Cpost reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to suspend or terminate any Cpoints account and/or to disqualify anyone from participating or further participating in the Loyalty Program at any time.
Cpost endeavors to protect a Member’s privacy. No personal information will be disclosed to third parties without the Member’s permission or due process, however, Cpost may share personal information with business partners.
Cpost gathers, and will be, in possession of the following private and personal information of Members: Information provided by the Member voluntarily - this information is used to provide a better service to Members; and Information automatically provided (e.g. cookies) – this information is gathered to improve your browsing and interaction with Cpost.
Cpost may use the personal information to communicate with the Member from time to time; Members may indicate if they do not wish to receive such communications; Cpost may use Member’s information for non-personal statistical purposes; Cpost retains the copyright in databases of personal information of Members; and Cpost may share Member’s information with business partners for commercial reasons.Security of Information
All reasonable steps will be taken to secure a Member’s information. Members must take sufficient precaution not to divulge their user name and passwords or personal identification number to any other person. Should members divulge such information, Cpost accepts no responsibility for losses. It is expressly prohibited for any person, business, or entity to gain or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any page on the Cpost website to deliver or attempt to deliver any unauthorized damaging or malicious code to the website. Any person who delivers or attempts to deliver any unauthorized, damaging or malicious code to the website or attempts to gain unauthorized access to any page on the website shall be held criminally liable, and in the event that Cpost should suffer any damage or loss, civil damages will be claimed.Control
Cpost has the right to investigate, without prior notice, the account of a Member to review if all Terms and Conditions, as stated in this document, are being followed accordingly. In the event a Member is in violation of these General Terms and Conditions, Cpost has the right to suspend the account until further notice. In the event an account is suspended, a Member can still accrue points. The suspended Member is prohibited from any other activity or services which are offered within the program.
LiabilityLimitation of Liability
Any claim a Member of the Loyalty Program may have against Cpost may only be brought in the Court of Curaçao. All liability shall be lesser than or limited to NAF. 500,00.Disclaimer
Cpost shall not be liable for any damage, loss or liability of whatsoever nature arising from the use or inability to use the website or the services or content provided from and through the website. Furthermore, Cpost makes no representations or warranties, implied or otherwise, that, among others, the content and technology available from the website are free from errors or omissions or that the service will be 100% uninterrupted and error free.
Information, ideas and opinions expressed on the Cpost website should not be regarded as professional advice or the official opinion of Cpost; they are intended to solely inform the Members.
Earning and redeeming CpointsEarning Points
Within the program a Member will receive Cpoints according to the table in Appendix I.Incorrect transactions
Points which are credited incorrectly by Cpost can be debited from a Member’s account without notice and without prejudice.Dispute
Cpost will take reasonable effort to credit a member his or her points after picking up a package. If a dispute arises regarding the issuance of points, it is the members’ obligation to present to Cpost all documentation, such as invoices, as proof when filling a retro credit application.Redemption Points for Free Shipments
When picking up a package at a Cpost branch in Curaçao or at Soualiga Service Point in Sint Maarten, you are able to redeem your Cpoints. Free Shipments will only be issued if a customer has sufficient Cpoints. If Cpoints have expired you will no longer be able to redeem the Cpoints. Cpost will not reinstate your Cpoints after they have expired.Redeem Points Points Needed
Appendix II gives an overview per weight category of the number of Cpoints needed for a free shipment.Points or Reward Abuse
Fraud or abuse of Cpost Points or reward redemptions, including any use other than originally intended for Cpost, is subject to immediate administrative and legal action. This action may include membership termination and forfeiture of all accrued Cpoints.
